Curated Mystery Selections: You acknowledge that TabooBox products are sold on a mystery or surprise curation model based on themes, holidays, and selected topics. While we guarantee curated items of appropriate retail value, you understand that the specific contents of each box are unknown prior to unboxing. We do not warrant that individual product selections will match your subjective preferences.
Duplicate Prevention: We utilize an internal customer tracking system designed to prevent subscribers from receiving duplicate boxes across consecutive billing cycles.
Hygiene Standards & Intimate Nature: Due to public health and safety standards governing intimate and personal wellness products, all items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable once packaging or product seals have been broken, in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.
SECTION 3 - ORDERS & ACCEPTANCE
When you place an order or initiate a subscription, you are making an offer to purchase. TabooBox reserves the right to accept, limit, or decline your order for any reason, including suspected fraudulent activity, unauthorized reseller purchases, or delivery addresses outside our shipping territory.
All purchases are strictly for personal or household use and may not be purchased for commercial resale, distribution, or export.
SECTION 4 - SUBSCRIPTIONS & RECURRING BILLING
By purchasing an ongoing subscription, you expressly agree to recurring periodic charges:
1. Billing Cadence: You are charged immediately upon checkout for your first box. Subsequent charges will automatically recur on a rolling 4-week cycle from your initial purchase date using your authorized payment method.
2. Self-Service Portal (Pause, Skip, Cancel): You may manage your subscription 24/7 through your Customer Portal. You have the right to pause your deliveries, skip an upcoming 4-week cycle, or cancel your subscription at any time without cancellation fees.
3. Cancellation Cutoff: To avoid being billed for your next scheduled box, your cancellation must be submitted at least 24 to 48 hours prior to your scheduled renewal date. Cancellations submitted after an order has processed will apply to subsequent billing cycles.
4. Non-Refundable Recurring Charges: Once a recurring 4-week charge has processed and an order is entered into fulfillment, that charge is final and non-refundable.
SECTION 5 - PRICES & PAYMENT
Prices and promotions are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the price in effect when the order or recurring charge triggers. Posted prices do not include shipping or applicable sales taxes unless explicitly stated. You represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the credit card or payment method provided and authorize us to charge all incurred amounts.
SECTION 6 - SHIPPING & DISCREET DELIVERY
Territory: We currently ship exclusively to valid postal addresses within Canada. Orders placed with international or US delivery addresses will be cancelled.
Discreet Packaging: All orders are dispatched in plain, unmarked packaging without explicit logos, descriptions, or product branding on the outside label.
Delivery Estimates: Delivery schedules (typically 1–3 business days processing and up to 7 business days transit) are estimates only. Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon our delivery of the package to the shipping carrier. We are not liable for transit delays caused by carriers or events beyond our control.
SECTION 7 - RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
TabooBox is powered by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that enables us to offer the Services. Any purchases you make are made directly with TabooBox. You acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of sales between you and TabooBox, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products. You expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims and liabilities arising from your transactions with TabooBox.
SECTION 8 - THIRD-PARTY TOOLS & LINKS
We may provide you with access to third-party tools (including subscription management applications) and links to external websites that we neither monitor nor control. These tools and links are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Your use of third-party tools is entirely at your own risk.
SECTION 9 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content included in our Services—including text, graphics, branding, logos, box designs, images, and software—is the property of TabooBox or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-commercial license to access the site. Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
SECTION 10 - USER FEEDBACK & SUBMISSIONS
If you submit reviews, suggestions, or proposals ("Feedback"), you grant TabooBox a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and publish such Feedback in any medium. You warrant that your Feedback does not violate the rights of any third party or contain defamatory or unlawful material.

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province in Canada where TabooBox is established and the applicable federal laws of Canada. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within that jurisdiction.
